What is your industry?
What are the top 3 things you would like to communicate through your logo?
VERY IMPORTANT! - the sketch I have included is really close to what I want! I am looking for someone to make it memorable and professional.
I am launching a brand new company! My company is about two things: 1. Coaching individuals to identify direction/Vision for their life and business, then coaching them through the steps they need to take to achieve their goals - thus the mountain and the path. 2. Drawing out the potential in individuals - thus the name Peake and the slogan - "Reach Your Peak". The most important thing about my logo is that I want the graphic to be very simple and to convey the meaning and identity of my company even without words. The best example I can think of this is the Nike swoop. It is just a flat shape with no text or even any relation to the text "Nike" yet it is universally identifiable. So, though the graphic will almost always be accompanied by text, it needs to stand alone well. The Sketch I have is pretty close to what I want as a finished product. I just need an artist to make it more professional. It is important to me that the playful, gestural nature of the sketch be reflected in the finished product. I could envision the lines being organic, varying in thickness..like a brush or ink pen. I am also looking for an artist to find fonts and scale that make the text (when present) work well with the image. I want customers to think, Bing can help me reach my peak, and the journey will be fun!
Under the Logo, the text, "Peake"
Under that, "Coaching and Consulting"
Under that, "Reach Your Peak!"
What logo styles do you like (image + text, image only, text only, etc.)
Nike Swoop is BY FAR the best example of what I am looking for. To be clear, though, I am NOT looking for my logo to look anything like the swoop, just that it be simple, clear and stand alone like the swoop. Also, the gestural quality of the swoop attracts me. Other influences would by the Disney signature (for it's fun and instant recognizability as well as gesture and organic line). Apple's bitten apple is a good one too for being stand-alone without text, whimsical, fun. It's a little too stiff for me, though.

I kind of like this guy's logo and his website is a lot of fun. He does coaching similar to what I want to offer...
The files I have included are 1. The photo which inspired the focus of my company and, 2. My starter sketch for your logo.
