LET ME TELL YOU ABOUT US:
This design is for the North Carolina Library Association (NCLA). The association was founded in 1904. The NCLA website can be viewed at www.nclaonline.org
HERE IS WHAT WE NEED:
This design is for the logo for the 2009 North Carolina Library Association Conference. The logo will be use used on the conference website, pre-conference publicity materials, registration packets, conference programs, conference bags, signs in the exhibit hall, etc.
The conference theme will be: North Carolina Libraries ... Serving Knowledge...Serving You
OUR TARGET AUDIENCE IS:
The organization's membership includes professional librarians, paraprofessionals, volunteers, friends groups, trustees and students. Academic, public, special and school libraries are represented in the organization as well as rural and urban libraries.
WE LIKE THESE DESIGNS:
We would like to use a menu type logo that will allow us to show the diversity with the profession and the services provided. In addition to ethnic diversity of individuals we also want to show diversity of programs, services and types of libraries across the state.
WE ABSOLUTELY MUST HAVE (or we don't want to see) THIS IN OUR DESIGN:
Since we will be meeting in Greenville, NC we want to use the colors purple and gold. They are the colors of the local university, East Carolina.
