LET ME TELL YOU ABOUT US:
We are Civil Recovery Solutions [CRS] - a civil recovery start-up company. CRS provides a 'recovery of monies' service to any market sectors that suffer from financial loss, by way of theft, fraud or dishonesty. Working within a legal framework and always maintaining the integrity of our clients - predominately major retailers - we assist in reducing their exposure to criminal acts, and delivering back results that have a positive impact on their bottom line. Heavy, huh?
What we're hoping will set us apart from the competition is our investment in IT solutions and data optimisation; one of our USPs is our analytically-driven methodology and insight.
HERE IS WHAT WE NEED:
We need a logo for this new company that can be applied to business cards, presentation templates and stationery in the first instance - so mock-ups of logo positioning are required please. We also want to incoporate the logo - or elements of it - throughout the website.
OUR TARGET AUDIENCE IS:
Design-wise it's a bit of a toughie. We have two distinct audiences: clients and 'offenders'.
On the one hand, we want to appear professional, established and approachable to our anticipated 200+ corporate clients, but on the other, given the serious nature of this business - we need to be seen as authoritative and no-nonsense to the tens of thousands of people (aka offenders) at the 'sharp end' of what we do.
WE LIKE THESE DESIGNS:
We can't give you specific designs we like at this stage, but we do want our branding / logo to be contemporary - but not quickly dated - with an impactful font and a strong colour theme. The company name is a bit of a mouthful, so we do anticipate using its acronym as the anchor, however would also like to see options that include the full name of the business and a simple piece of iconography as part of the design.
Having done a quick scan of the CrowdSpring site, this is an example of a brief in a similar quandry: http://www.crowdspring.com/projects/grap...
WE ABSOLUTELY MUST HAVE (or we don't want to see) THIS IN OUR DESIGN:
For us, it's a blank canvas, but we'll feedback preferences as the designs come in.
