No.
It is and always has been prohibited to use any AI-generated art, stock art, purchased royalty-free images*, and clip art in our Logo Design projects.
We also prohibit any tracing or modifying of AI-generated, stock art, clip art, or royalty-free images, in whole or in part, in any way.
We require all work submitted to our Logo Design projects to be 100% original.
We have a strict zero tolerance policy towards any user who breaks this rule. To clarify, any creative who submits these types of designs in a Logo Design project will have their account removed immediately and permanently along with all of the work that s/he submitted to any project on crowdspring. We take this policy very seriously, and you should too.
If you submit a design that is not yours (ie. AI-generated, stock, or copyrighted materials) you harm the client, yourself, crowdspring and our entire community. Such actions violate crowdspring's Standards of Conduct for Creatives, our User Agreement, and you expose yourself to legal risk.
*Royalty-Free Images
There are often specific restrictions on using royalty-free images for logo design, even though it may be appropriate and lawful to use royalty-free images in most graphic design projects. For example, iStockphoto prohibits the use of any royalty-free images purchased from their site for logo designs. This is stated very clearly in section 4(a)(4) of the iStockphoto license: "You may not … use any of the Content as part of a trade-mark, design-mark, trade-name, business name, service mark, or logo."
Crowdspring does not allow the use of royalty-free images in logo design projects. No exceptions.
If you suspect there is a violation of our rules, you can report the entry by using the "3-dot" menu, and our team will launch an investigation.
