What is your industry?
Consumer Specialty eCommerce
Describe the target audience for your website design
Wine enthusiasts -- typically aged 35 to 55, above-average household income.
What 3 things would you like to communicate to your audience through your website design
We want to de-emphasize our brand to place emphasis on the wineries that list products with us. We want to be brand agnostic and have a look that compliments the winery brands we carry.
We want to look artisanal, high-quality, reputable, and established.
How is your company different from your competitors?
We're wine industry insiders. We're selling to consumers, but we really want to connect with our winery clients.
We want to be the easiest-to-use site for wineries to list wines and for consumers to buy from. Many of our winery clients are NOT tech-savvy, and are intimidated by ecommerce.
Most wine purchasing sites are just retailers. We connect customers directly to the wineries.
Style and Concept
What colors do you want to see in your website design?
We're open to ideas. We want the overall site to primarily use a single color, to emphasize our brand. If you can do that with multiple colors, that's fine too. Simple, clean looks.
What colors do you NOT want to see in your website design?
Lots of wine sites use green and purple. We don't want that. Either color is fine, but not both.
What adjectives should best describe your website design?
What content must be included in the website design?
Please use foodzie.com as a model for page content and page types. We're using the same framework that they use.
Our URL structure will be: www.cellarstore.com for the main site, winery-name.cellarstore.com for the winery profile page, and winery-name.com/product-name for the product detail page.
Do you have additional requirements or links you want to share?
We want to avoid a feminine looking site. Most winemakers are male. (That doesn't mean we want a really masculine site.)
