What do you do?
We are an online retailer of freshly procured seafood, specializing in extremely fresh and delicious Lobsters.
Do you have a desired website screen size?
The website should be 960px wide. Please take a look at: http://www.freshseafood.com/
We like their realistic background and single page presentation.
How many pages (maximum of 5) do you need designed?
5 pages of templates. There are multiple item pages and text pages that are identical to each other respectively and will serve as templates. For example, the about page, contact us, policy, terms of use/service, and shipping pages will be the same template. Also, the product pages will be the same - i.e. the lobster page will be the same as the crab page. I just need the template to be designed. The pages will have different pictures and the text that will describe different products/pages.
Target Audience
What is your industry?
We currently have a lobster and seafood wholesale Brick and Mortar business and we would like to expand to have an online presence.
Describe the target audience for your website design
People looking to purchase high-end food/products from the Internet. The same target audience as Omaha steaks.
Please take a look at: http://www.freshseafood.com/
http://andersonseafoods.com/
What 3 things would you like to communicate to your audience through your website design
We are all about fresh seafood, honesty, and educating the seafood customer.
How is your company different from your competitors?
We get our seafood from the best sources because we have relationships with fishermen all over the eastern seaboard. For example, if this week's best lobster comes from Boston, we source from there, if it comes from Maine, we source from there. Our goal is also to educate the consumer: for example, the best Lobsters don't necessarily come from Maine etc. We never use additives to increase the weight of products or do any weight manipulation of our products.
Style and Concept
What website design styles do you like?
The closest website that we like is:
http://www.freshseafood.com/
the idea is that we want to introduce some elements of realism - and have a sense of a store presence.
For the Home Page
Here are some images that may help in the designing the home page - background:

What colors do you want to see in your website design?
We have a logo that we like. Please refer to the logo for design cues. It is attached as an uploaded file. Please feel free to adjust the logo to fit your design.
What colors do you NOT want to see in your website design?
You have creative control over the colors that you can use. Please try to keep it simple.
What adjectives should best describe your website design?
The website should be friendly, accessible, and well organized.
What content must be included in the website design?
The website sells lobsters, shellfish and other seafood. The items should be presented in a very clear and accessible fashion.
We are working off a shopify template similar to this one: http://alaskan-king-crab.myshopify.com/
So we're looking to have the navigation bar on the left hand side. The navigation bar should serve as a product index. It does not have to go into the different sizes but should go into the different product offerings.
We would like to see a page design for the following
1) Home page (should be able to navigate to blog, contact us, privacy policy, shipping, blog). Needs to show a twitter feed. needs to link to a recipe page (text template), We would like the countdown clock feature of this website:

Here are some images that may help in the designing the home page - background:

http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/co...
The home page should include the left navigation and a large picture/visual. Then we would like to see your interpretation of how the home page should present text/content, and/or feature shopping items.
2) Text page template (about, contact us, privacy, blog, shipping etc),
I just need a template so that when I change the header i.e. about or contact us, it serves as those pages.
3) Product page template - template for lobsters, mussels, etc.( let's choose lobsters as the template example please see attached file for product list and http://www.lobsteranywhere.com/maine-lob... be a dropdown menu.list of the different sizes and quantities.
4) Shop template - it is a product index menu of items - please see (http://alaskan-king-crab.myshopify.com/c...)
, and
5) shopping cart page. please see: http://alaskan-king-crab.myshopify.com/c...
Do you have additional requirements or links you want to share?
The focus of this project is to present different variations of layout for the site. We cannot provide photos of the seafood at this time, so do your best in procuring examples/stock photos of lobsters, shellfish, etc. from sites as visual examples. Please feel free to submit samples from the best seafood images of the web. The winning submission will be chosen with those images excluded from the design.
Here are some additional requirements:
We would like the front page design to have a place for a twitter feed.
We would like the front page to have a small recipe section - similar to http://www.freshseafood.com/
