LET ME TELL YOU ABOUT US:
Too Much Media, a fast-growing New Jersey based software company, develops and supports a powerful suite of web-based products for Internet businesses. Widely used, our products include advanced content management software and an affiliate management solution that affiliates worldwide recognize and trust.
HERE IS WHAT WE NEED:
Our industry leading affiliate software, NATS, is in need of a facelift. We desire a simple, clean, and fresh looking web 2.0 interface. This must be designed so that it is easy to navigate, user friendly, and enjoyable. All of the reporting information must be displayed clearly and intuitively to the user.
NATS consists of many pages. We are focusing on four distinct pages for this project. We will then apply the user-interface to the other pages or work with the winning designer on doing so.
The NATS software is run by many companies. Therefore, the interface design needs to be somewhat customizable. The logo should be easily interchangeable and the colors should be easily modified via CSS. The interface should not be designed with the NATS brand. It should be a generic design that can be customized by the end user as mentioned above. You are welcome to use the Too Much Media or NATS logo & colors as placeholders for the purpose of the project. They can be found at http://wiki.toomuchmedia.com/index.php/L...
The current NATS affiliate interface can be seen by logging into our demo at: http://www.democash.com/ using the following:
The specific pages to be redesigned for this project are:
Main Index Page (after logging in) - http://www.democash.com/internal.php
Main Stats Page - http://www.democash.com/internal.php?pag...
Advertising Tool Display - http://www.democash.com/internal.php?pag...
Edit Account Page - http://www.democash.com/internal.php?pag...
We are looking to start from scratch with this design. We wish to redesign the interface to be more modern & user friendly. You are free to place the various elements on each page in any layout that you feel accomplishes this. You are welcome to add elements that you feel would help the flow and remove elements you feel are cumbersome or redundant. We are looking for a cutting edge web 2.0 user interface, not just a fresh coat of paint. Again, solid & detailed feedback will be provided throughout the process so don't be afraid to push the boundaries.
Function, flow, intuitiveness, and a clean look are very important.
Winning designer will have the opportunity to continue working on this and future projects for our software suite.
OUR TARGET AUDIENCE IS:
The audience for this interface consists of affiliates promoting a variety of websites & products. They use NATS to provide them with details on how their traffic is reporting, grab the tools they need for that promotion, manage their accounts, and more. The reports and functionality contained within the software are accessed very frequently and therefore ease of use & quick navigation are very vital.
WE LIKE THESE EXAMPLES:
We are looking for a unique design. We do not wish to copy or completely base our interface off anything existing. With that said, we do like elements from and the overall way these interfaces are built:
Mint has a great feel to the interface overall. Once logged in, the transaction report and other views are clean and interactive.
Several features in the Plaxo site are easy to use and navigate.
The Magento Softwares admin interface has a clean look as well.
WE ABSOLUTELY MUST HAVE THIS IN OUR PIECE:
A completely unique web 2.0 design.
