LET ME TELL YOU ABOUT US:
Digital Beckley is a professional design and development firm that creates business and enterprise class web sites for our clients.
HERE IS WHAT WE NEED:
The GUI should be designed to fit on a 1024px wide screen (working width is about 970+/- pixels).
The site will need to fit on a 1024x768 monitor. Height is not critical, however it is expected the design should accommodate scaling/liquid growth as the client adds content - increasing the perceived height of the design.
A horizontal menu bar shall be incorporated into the design. This area will be reserved for the text based dynamic menu (you may use placeholder menu items for design purposes). The general menu is composed of "Home, Company Info, Equipment, Clients, Projects" - (the client will be able to add additional items as needed, but this should affect the design)
A separate area of the GUI should be designed to accomodate the following 'standard pages':
News, FAQ, Contact, Directions. These can be conceits/buttons/calls to action that hyperlink to other pages. (For an example of seeing standard and dynamic menus, please see http://www.beckleysanitaryboard.org)
Modules for documents and visual galleries are not required to be presented on the interface. (This is controlled via the CMS)
The main menu bar MUST be consistent from the home page to any subpage.
The base colors are green and white.
This MUST be ultra clean, see links to another site below for a site the client likes.
A homepage and a subpage design should be submitted.
OUR TARGET AUDIENCE IS:
The site will be for larger corporations that need golf course construction or renovation
WE LIKE THESE DESIGNS:
The client has asked the site be similar to http://www.frontiergolf.com/home.html
Digital Beckley's portfolio is available at www.digitalbeckley.com/portfolio.asp - you can see how our designs are more artistic than corporate.
WE ABSOLUTELY MUST HAVE (or we don't want to see) THIS IN OUR DESIGN:
No clipart!
No animations!
