The Mobster Game is an online browser-based game where players become virtual mobsters, organize cartels, and control entire cities through brute force in a vicious week-long competition to rule the underworld.
Online since March of 2007, The Mobster Game has continually led the turn-based pack of games in both features and the use of web 2.0 technologies to make those features integrate with the game in a more fluid and interactive manner.
HERE IS WHAT WE NEED:
We are looking for a brand refresh, to include logo, web layout, graphics, and banner ad templates. Logo should be suitable for online and print use (stickers, t-shirts and other schwag). Design of web layout and graphics should take into account that this is an operating game - designers are invited and encouraged to look at the current site at http://www.themobstergame.com to get an idea of the current user experience in terms of gameplay so as to understand which elements are critical and should be emphasized.
OUR TARGET AUDIENCE IS:
Primary marketing is to single males between 25 and 40 with incomes above 100k - secondary market is gamers of both sexes between 15 and 40. Tiered approach is intended to draw in both players who will generate revenue, and those who will provide them with fodder.
WE LIKE THESE EXAMPLES:
We like dark, clean, and realistic. The feel of Bodog.com has been a traditional favorite among the owners, but we're looking for something original and fresh.
WE ABSOLUTELY MUST HAVE THIS IN OUR PIECE:
Logo must be recognizable and look good in four-color.
Web assets must include awards for three positions (bronze, silver and gold) in three tiers of players (associates, made men and godfathers) and a template medal for special events.
