LET ME TELL YOU ABOUT US:
This project is for a new design for a collection of sites that provide information on registered agents in the various states and allow users to submit reviews of their experience with those agents. The site does not accept advertising and is informational only. The main site is www.registered-agent-information.com. This site is a single page site with contact information for all of the various Secretary of State offices and links to the various sub-sites for each state (e.g. www.arizona-registered-agents.com, www.nevada-registered-agents.com, www.california-registered-agents.com, etc.). The state sites contain general information and links at the top of the page and the body of the page contains information on all of the agents that do business in that state as well as contact information and review score. There are also links to reviews for that agent.
HERE IS WHAT WE NEED:
We essentially need 4 page concepts with concept buttons, navigation, etc. We want to know how you think these sites should look!
1. Concept for www.registered-agent-information.com (the hub/directory page)
2,3. Concept for two of the state pages. I would recommend that one of them be Nevada's since there is so much info on it. (www.nevada-registered-agents.com)
4. Concept for one of the agent detail sites. For an example of an agent detail site, see: http://www.nevada-registered-agents.com/.... This particular page has a number of reviews on it so you can see how an agent detail page should look when populated with reviews.
Problem with what we have now is that the information is not clearly presented. There is good information, but it is kind of a mess. Perhaps we should move address and phone information to the detail page and show only the core info (rating, price, name, etc.) - see attached file "anotherlayout.png" for possible ideas on this.
Keep in mind that the data portions are dynamic and as such we are limited in fonts we can use. The labels in front of the data can be graphic though (as seen in the attached example file "anotherlayout.png").
We would like some continuity from the root navigation page (www.registered-agent-information.com) and the various state sites.
It would be nice if each state had some color elements of the state flag (we have this currently) as it breaks up the monotony although this element is not required.
Once completed, we will need all design elements possibly including rendered buttons in various states (hoverover, pressed, regular), etc.
OUR TARGET AUDIENCE IS:
This site is a resource for individuals, paralegals, attorneys, entreprenuers, businesses of all sizes, and researchers.
WE LIKE THESE DESIGNS:
A couple of talented CrowdSpring designers did some banners for us before we were considering redesigning the entire site. See winning banners attached below. We like both of these. Feel free to derive from them. If we need to upload the files for these, I'm sure someone will let us know ;-)
One used a font called OptimusPrinceps that we liked quite a bit.
WE ABSOLUTELY MUST HAVE THIS IN OUR DESIGN:
We would like a professional, modern, and contemporary design that conveys trust, class, and clarity. I would say that we would like it to look "governmental", but that would contradict the aftermentioned desire for trust, modern, class, and clarity ;-) (LOL)
When agent data is updated or a review is added or updated, we want a callout or flag graphic we can put next to that agent's name that denotes this. Please show one of these in your illustration with placement.
