Chabad of Philadelphia
What do you do?
The purpose of this site is to serve as a directory for the Philadelphia-area network of Chabad Houses, and to promote seasonal programs and events.
Do you have a desired website screen size?
This site is being created within a template that has two parts: a header that must be exactly 778px wide and up to 150px high, content area 663px wide. However, we would like these parts to merge seamlessly on the homepage even though they are two separate pieces; see http://www.chabadli.org/. The header part will remain for all the inside pages too. See http://www.miamitorah.com/ for another example of this instance.
How many pages (maximum of 5) do you need designed?
What is your industry?
Describe the target audience for your website design
We are looking to reach anybody interested in Jewish life in the Philadelphia area.
What 3 things would you like to communicate to your audience through your website design
We want to show how Jewish life in the area is very accessible, that there is something for every type, and that we are a warm community welcoming all Jews.
How is your company different from your competitors?
We are not judgmental, welcome all Jews, and are interested in each person on a personal level.
Style and Concept
What website design styles do you like?
Current, clean, but with a creative touch.
What colors do you want to see in your website design?
Colors are flexible - we would like something professional and current, but not too corporate.
What colors do you NOT want to see in your website design?
No specific preference, would like it not to have an old-fashioned or dated look.
What adjectives should best describe your website design?
Striking, user-friendly, warm.
What content must be included in the website design?
The homepage should be made up of the two parts listed above (screen size), include room for a flash to feature specific events, and three buttons/links:
Tab 1: Where to Eat.
Tab 2: Where to Daven.
Tab 3: Shabbat Candle Lighting.
The second page should be an index of Centers, which will eventually be populated with info similar to this page: http://www.chabadli.org/templates/articl...
The third page should be a standard inside page, with inside headers/design similar to http://www.miamitorah.com/templates/arti.... Obviously should have a feel more appropriate to Philadelphia.
Do you have additional requirements or links you want to share?
We are creating a site similar in concept to http://www.chabadli.org/ but must have a much more "current" and interesting look (that is not what we are looking for at all style-wise).
