Business Info

Business Name

What do you do?

MyPetRelocation.com is owned by PetRelocation.com, a company that arranges pet travel and transportation services for pets. MyPetRelocation.com will be a travel community that will help connect pet owners worldwide who might be moving or traveling with their pets. We also want to connect them with other service providers and vendors, as well as give them answers to common questions and issues that arise during pet travel.

Do you have a desired website screen size?

No more than 960 wide, and preferably the top part would fit in a space of 800 or less (see "Sites we like").

How many pages (maximum of 5) do you need designed?

Target Audience

What is your industry?

Pet services

Describe the target audience for your website design

Most of our current site traffic is female, Caucasian, no children, affluent and highly educated (graduate degrees). Obviously they are interested in pets and the care of their pets. They want to trust us, feel secure and know that their pets are going to be safe.

What 3 things would you like to communicate to your audience through your website design

1. That we are a community made for pet owners to get answers and meet others like them.
2. That we are respected, reliable and have experience moving pets, which means our free advice and answers are valuable enough to sign up for.
3. That the community is safe, trusted and secure and that people are happy when they use the community.

How is your company different from your competitors?

There are no other pet travel communities on the internet yet. We are different in that most pet travel sites do not have real-life experience in moving pets, dealing with airlines, etc. Because we do this as a service, we know firsthand the most current requirements, import regulations, etc. Also different from our competitors is that we are willing to put this information out for free.

Style and Concept

What colors do you want to see in your website design?

Blues, greens, #0a57a4, orange, earthy tones

What colors do you NOT want to see in your website design?

We don't tend to like "dark" websites but are open to seeing anything.

What adjectives should best describe your website design?

Friendly, safe, sleek, inviting, web 2.0

What content must be included in the website design?

On Homepage:

Existing logo (see "Materials")

We'd like to have a "Sign up" form or button on the home page, somewhere near the top and prominent (see sites we like).

We will have a place on our site for users to download documents relating to their pet's travel, find a vendor or service provider, check out our blog, and connect with other community members/pet owners. However this information you believe should be displayed is what we'd like to see in the navigation and design!

On "Destination" page:

We'd like to have a design to show an interior page, which would be a "Destination" page. For example, the UK would have its own page showing vendors, members who are located there, documents relating to the destination and blog posts about it. We'd like all of that information to be neatly displayed and accessible on our Destination pages and need a simple design.
