LET ME TELL YOU ABOUT US:
DrinkTale.com provides a portal, in which all the bars and clubs in the United States have their own individual profiles, to be managed by an owner or promoter.
Through this portal, users can interact with the bars/clubs, events, or each other.
DrinkTale is an event-driven website. Our goal is to have users and bars/clubs frequently post parties/events for others to see, attend, or comment on.
In addition to events, users will post, tag, and share a considerable amount of photos from their nightlife activities.
HERE IS WHAT WE NEED:
Please consider the attached wireframes for detailed specifications.
The business profile, user profile, and event detail pages, also allow for editing on the page by the owner.
OUR TARGET AUDIENCE IS:
People who go out: college students mostly, but older crowds as well.
WE LIKE THESE DESIGNS:
There is no need for an "overkill" color scheme in the layout, header, and fonts. Icons should vary as appropriate.
We want to go for a very modern web2.0 "look and feel." Plenty of whitespace: no clutter.
Some favored page designs (not necessarily the entire website):

WE ABSOLUTELY MUST HAVE (or we don't want to see) THIS IN OUR DESIGN:
We have DrinkTale.com in mind to be somewhat of a cross between going.com and old facebook.com.
Going.com for their nice fonts, icons, and buttons.
Facebook.com for their clean, easy to follow and read layout.
We absolutely dislike the clutter in going.com's design.
