LET ME TELL YOU ABOUT US:
We are a media company that produces film, television and new media (web). That said, it is our intention to incorporate CrowrdSring into our workflow if we can get a killer company website design to peddle our wears.
As with this project we will offer some crude illustrator doc which conveys the important elements and functionality but we are relying on out of the box Webby Award type work.
If all goes well,we will have tons of work for the right designers....no pressure!!!
HERE IS WHAT WE NEED:
We need a company logo and website design....but here the deal...if there was ever a project to strut your creative prowess this is it.
Think simple.
In short we need a website that will showcase our work, tell people what were looking for and allow them to upload docs and video. In the mock-up I attached (Milk & Media Concept) I chose to have a single window that swaps out for video, text, photos or blog with a simple bottom navigation.
I am not attached to this design.
What might be interesting is a messy desk where a user can move things around? or a front page like jeffbridges.com where I scribble whats up and add links to media? Maybe it a guy walking out of the darkness from a peeled back door like checklandkindleysides.com who asks us to come inside and bring your ideas with you???
I don't know what that genius idea is but there is lots of work for the person that does.
It's late for me and I could rants for hours but I'll start with that. I am available for as much further collaboration as needed and will comment on every design submitted.
OUR TARGET AUDIENCE IS:
The site is really more of a business card to attract the brightest genius filmmakers and web developers in the land.
WE LIKE THESE DESIGNS:
lafilmschool.com (film)
WE ABSOLUTELY MUST HAVE (or we don't want to see) THIS IN OUR DESIGN:
A deft artistic hand on this project. It must be simple and not resemble a standard website. It needs a hook like a good thriller...maybe the nav...or the splash page? But if it pedestrian don't bother submitting it. We are basically scouting for a long term group of designers and we decided to start with our own company.
