LET ME TELL YOU ABOUT US:
We are a new law firm with sophisticated clients throughout the United States and in countries across the globe. We enable people from any country to work in any other country by solving the work/travel visa requirements. In other words, we bring the world to work.
These days, domestic and foreign companies buy and sell products worldwide. While commerce doesn't recognize borders, governments do. This is where we step in. We manage the various immigration hurdles so that our clients don't have to.
Our clients are large, publicly traded companies, so we need a solid and professional looking website. Right now, our practice only consists of 2 people (my partner - law partner - and myself), but we would like our website to give the sense that we are bigger than that. In other words, we don't want our practice to come across as a fly-by-night firm.
HERE IS WHAT WE NEED:
I'm initially thinking of 4 pages: Home, News, About Us, and Contact Us. From the Homepage, we would like to have some links to other websites.
On the homepage, we would probably just have very basic information. I'm thinking I would also like a list of recent news. Only the most recent 5-10 news events would be on the homepage.
The news page is pretty self-explanatory.
About us - we would probably like to have some sort of mission statement, a statement about our practice, and attorney bios. There may be other things too, but that's all I can think of right now.
Contact us - again, self-explanatory (although we will probably have 3 separate addresses in 3 different states)
OUR TARGET AUDIENCE IS:
Large, publicly traded corporations. We also have smaller clients, but our target is larger companies. We want them to see us as a solid firm that they can simply hand off their immigration issues to. Our website needs to engender trust and confidence in us.
WE LIKE THESE DESIGNS:
Sorry, I don't have much in the way of suggestions here. I do like some of the ghost graphic designs I've seen, where the top of the page is a certain color, while the writing and graphics are a slightly lighter shade of the same color. I think we're mostly looking for greens and blues, but we're certainly open to suggestion and artistic input.]
We are currently working on a logo and should be able to provide it soon.
WE ABSOLUTELY MUST HAVE (or we don't want to see) THIS IN OUR DESIGN:
We don't want a lot of movement on the home page (flashing images, blinking lights, etc.).
