LET ME TELL YOU ABOUT US:
We are an independent insurance agency in the Seattle area. We primarily protect consumers. Our major products are homeowners and car insurance, but we also offer a variety of other products, such as, earthquake coverage, flood, umbrella, motorcycle, boats/toys and more.
HERE IS WHAT WE NEED:
We are looking for a web design template that will include 3 designs.
1) Front Page
As you can see from the sample web site's I've included, I am looking for a front page that funnels people to the destination that may be pertinent to them. Our web site will be focused on achieving three things
-a. helping people who want to buy get a quote
-b. providing "researchers" with valuable information about insurance
-c. providing options for existing customers, including, contact us, paying for their insurance, filing a claim or reading about benefits of doing business with us.
***Inside our web site we will provide the information described above. Some of these pages will be sub-sections around a specific topic, while others will be tied into the front page. For example, we will have a research center on this web site. This research area will have a variety of sub pages associated with it, for this reason, I will have a menu tied to this section.
2) Interior Page A
We need a mock-up of an interior page with a sub-section-menu. (For example, see this site, how the sub pages have the menu on the left: http://www.protectyoubetter.org/Research...
3) Interior Page B
We need a mock-up of an interior page without this sub menu, but perhaps an area off to a side for a call-to-action or form.
I am ok with minor tweaks to the logo to make it more web/design friendly. For example, the domain name doesn't need to be in the logo!
OUR TARGET AUDIENCE IS:
We are targeting consumers in the Seattle metro area who are looking for an independent agent to work with them to help them get the best possible protection at the lowest possible price. We need to position ourselves as experts and as someone they can depend on and trust.
WE LIKE THESE DESIGNS:
Please see the attached document for 5+ web site critiques of other designs in our industry.
I like a clean design that efficiently uses space without being cluttered. At the same time, I understand the importance of the top of the screen.
WE ABSOLUTELY MUST HAVE (or we don't want to see) THIS IN OUR DESIGN:
On the front page design, we are looking to server the three major areas. Research, quotes and service.
The top 1/3 of the front page is very important. We need to utilize this space to create our brand and drive people to the areas that are most important to them. Most people are here for a quote, so having buttons to offers quotes for the specific lines of insurance is important.
