A standard width would be fine.

How many pages (maximum of 5) do you need designed?

5 pages - Homepage and other inner pages

What is your industry?

Window Film

Describe the target audience for your website design

Readers of all stripes. Moms and dads. Corporations. Auto Enthusiasts.

What 3 things would you like to communicate to your audience through your website design

Relevant Advice and Information Articles
Fresh Looking Website
Tools to help them make product decisions

How is your company different from your competitors?

We try to cater our information to the consumer. We aren't the manufacturer or a tint installer. We try to be unbiased in our recommendations and try to find the best product for the price for all different types of buyers, large or small.

Style and Concept

What website design styles do you like?

Since this is an information portal site, we DO NOT want a graphics heavy website that wows the reader. Graphics are needed to catch the eye and draw attention to the various sections, but we are not trying to be fancy with advanced JS slideshows, etc... We want to stick to our roots of being about good content first.

SAP - http://www.sap.com/index.epx#/solutions/...

Good organization, good accent colors, too much text for general consumer since this is a tech site, background makes the feeling fresh

What colors do you want to see in your website design?

We want to keep our traditional blue and white theme. The blue can be changed moving forward.

What colors do you NOT want to see in your website design?

None. Accent colors can be whatever makes sense to the designer.

What adjectives should best describe your website design?

Clean, Readable, Informative, Helpful

What content must be included in the website design?

The existing homepage elements all should be preserved in the new version. Text can be changed, but the basic information sections will remain mostly the same. A new element we want to incorporate in the new design is:

Social Networking Buttons - somewhere for facebook like, rss feed, and google +1 button to exist on every page, that is noticeable, but not in your face

Do you have additional requirements or links you want to share?

Since this is more of a text-heavy information site, we would evaluate text readability, font choice, spacing issues higher than graphics quality!

Thanks so much for taking the time to consider this contest. I am motivated to provide feedback.
