LET ME TELL YOU ABOUT US:
we are a startup company in the " garage " develpment stage. We are creating a new web application called Honishi which means "my equity' or 'my asset'.
The Site application will be multi lingual Right to Left and Left to right languages as well
we are not consultants or brokers ourselves but a platform to engage end users and agents to quality discussions while end users have in one place a consolidate view of the Familys financial and asset portfolio
The application will allow users to:
View a consolidated (united) view of all their assets, such as mutual funds, stocks , pensions plans, real estate, insurance policies etc .
A site for questions and answers to ask professional agents from the field but also one another
A site where agents will be able to:
o Generate leads
o Promote themselves and their firms by writing blogs
The site will also be place for people to get educated on the field of financial products and pension plans as well as read /view news on the field
Set their personal profile including general details, preferences as well as define their account: detail their assets
HERE IS WHAT WE NEED:
We are in need of a web design front page and internal pages as well. Internal pages will be templates that can be modified and rebuild by ourselves using same look and feel and the different design elements as pages are added to the web site,
Note see pdf web attached for examples
see attached doc for details
Home page, internal pages , Icon,"content box"
OUR TARGET AUDIENCE IS:
the audience; main two types of users:
end user - all of us , the ordinary person (not necessarily tech-savvy )
"pros" where pro are insurance companies and their agents , stock brokers, consultants etc. that give advice,
we believe that the demographics of our users are people over the age of 35, everyday workers that have401k plans and financial needs.
The site should give an impression of a modern solution. First impression is that the user will have trust in us with his information. Honishi is a trusty and serious company behind the modern application.
Honishis concern is for the END user the regular hard working person that needs an unbiased site to consult with peers and professional from the industry about their assets and retirement investments strategy.
WE LIKE THESE DESIGNS:
these colors for reference ONLY and combination of logo colors and these types of green and our logo colors gives a type of calm, relax environment
If designer can come up with a nice design to explain the concept of consolidation to the home page would be an advantage
For example as in the picture in file attached
WE ABSOLUTELY MUST HAVE (or we don't want to see) THIS IN OUR DESIGN:
Page layout should be flexible enough to allow bidirectional behavior, meaning, when the user switches from English to Arabic/Hebrew the layout should be mirrored horizontally. See further reading and guidelines in: http://www.w3.org/International/question...
All Strings, notification, button images, should reside in resource bundles, so internationalization will mostly be a matter of translating strings in those resource bundles.
Image Buttons (icons) should be developed in layered PNG format (compatible with Adobe FireWorks) to allow easy translation
1. We dont like the standard pictures bought off templates or the likes looking for the designers uniqueness
2. Arrows are off limits
3. We don't like backgrounds that are very dark.
4. No cartoon characters or wacky pictures, the site has to look professional
5. We dont like any busy, clattered design. We want modern, clean look and feel.
