HERE IS WHAT WE NEED:
This page needs to be SUPER text light. The winner will be the designer that is able to most quickly and simply communicate what we do, and get job seekers to engage.
Our goal is for a job seeker to mentally engage within 3-5 seconds of seeing the page. That does not mean they need to fully understand or be "sold" in 3 seconds... they just need to get the initial hook and want to stay. Engaging means they get concept and are willing to take a next step which may just be watching the page.

It is important to understand that the $500 bonus is more about creating buzz for the site and getting people to show up. When people get to the site, they need to feel like our primary objective is to get them a job. The money is a bonus.
All text is up for grabs. I suggest you test whatever you do with you friends. We will be testing your designs with real people.
Even the communication medium is up for grabs. You may design a page that requires flash, and we will build it. See Jobkabob.com for an example. You may require a video, and we will hire a professional to shoot it, but you would need to write a story board or post a low quality prototype on youtube to sell us on the idea.
Just remember: initial hook in 3-5 seconds. 3 is better than 5.
How it works for job seekers:
1) Candidates submit a confidential resume to Bonus Box.
2) Once per day we email the candidate jobs that match their resume skill set.
3) The candidate can respond to a job with a single click, which sends their resume to the employer. If they get the job, we give them $500.
How it works for employers:
1) Post a job for free and we will email it to targeted candidates.
2) If a candidate likes your job, they will respond by submitting their resume.
3) If you hire the candidate, you pay a $900 referral fee.
You obviously don't need to explain all the "how it works" on the home page.
Some candidates care about maintaining confidentiality, but many do not. If it is possible to communicate the confidentiality concept without using too much attention, that will help. Otherwise we will not focus on it.
As a secondary objective, we want employers and recruiters to *want* to be in our network which allows them to reach targeted candidates without any upfront costs. Employers will come to come to the home page, and they need a clear way to engage.

Most of our target job seekers are age 20-35 and will find their next job based on their quantifiable skills (like n years of experience in x) as opposed to qualitative skills (like great management).
