We are a startup food business centered on a new snackfood product infused with flavors from around the world. Our secret recipe is a unique combination of special ingredients were excited to share with the general public. Beyond the health benefits, our product is all about flavor. Yes, flavor! We'd spell it with an 'a' but that wouldn't be keepin' it real.
But back to the business...we believe in creating high quality, all-natural, organic products that taste good too and that you should never have to sacrifice taste for nutrition. We also believe

We would like a clean, professionally designed yet friendly and interesting website that appeals to the eyes, the intellect, that innate sense of adventure and yes, even your tastebuds.
More practically-speaking, we need a 5-template website:
1) Index / home page
2) Product template
3) Product list template
4) Ingredients template
5) About us / Contact Us template
Including a menu navigation bar.
To be included in the templates:
Menu Navigation bars - we are open to top-bottom or side-bottom or bottom-up pending the design.
We expect as a result of this project to have enough graphics and design direction needed to build this webpage. We may be interested in retaining the selected designer to help with all or parts of the coding, and additional work we have for other pages (products, ingredients, promotions). We plan to integrate interactive media eventually perhaps you can help with that too.
We have a logo designed already but are choosing not to disclose it for confidentiality reasons and because we do not want to overly direct or limit your creativity. It is a rectangular shape, however - about 3.25" x .5". Please use a white block of those dimensions as a placeholder for now (you can scale it up or down if you like).
OUR TARGET AUDIENCE IS:
18-44 year old educated men and women
Mostly employed (>$50K annual income; >$100K annual HH income)
Appetite for (and possibly some experience in) international adventure and food
People on the go, with active personal lives and busy schedules
Care about nutrition, taste, and convenience and personal fitness

WE LIKE THESE DESIGNS:
...but we are very open to new designs and want something clean and fresh with just enough magic to pique peoples interest and remind them of all the positive feelings they associate with trying new foods and traveling to new places. Among the design concepts we are tinkering with for our product: vintage maps (Indiana Jones style, global luggage stickers and vintage posters, but get creative. Part of our mission is to make our organic snack hip, flavorful and relevant, not just for folks who wear Crocs and drive Priuses (not that those arent hip and no offense if you do its just that we prefer Havaiianas and old school Landcruisers, especially if the engines been retooled to be more fuel efficient).
Anyway, please try to reflect upon our beliefs, values, and target audience when building your designs. Our current logo design is chocolate brown in color but we are interested in establishing a full color palette for our company.
WE ABSOLUTELY MUST HAVE (or we don't want to see) THIS IN OUR DESIGN:
We absolutely must have this in our design:
Appetizing look and appeal
Sense of adventure and exploration
We absolutely dont want to see:
something boring, preachy and corporate
something completely derivative of other snack products
something super busy and gimmicky with lots of scrolling flash dynamic madness intended
Note: our product will feature flavors from around the world so the website must feel universal/adaptable to the representative characteristics of different countries. In other words, you may not want to go super Asian or super African but be open to adjusting to those cultures and influences. Hope that makes sense.
