LET ME TELL YOU ABOUT US:
Bondi Produce is a Canadian-based wholesale provider of fruits and vegetables. We pick, pack, and deliver products sourced from all around to globe to local restaurants and supermarket chains. The company is family owned and operated and extends three generations and has become a crucial part of the brand and differentiates us from our competitors. We're relatively small, tight-knit organization and most of our clients end up knowing our front office staff on a first name basis.
HERE IS WHAT WE NEED:
We need a website design that includes:
- A home page
- An About Us page
- A Products page
- A contact us page
The design must incorporate our logo (attached).
OUR TARGET AUDIENCE IS:
Chefs, produce buyers, and suppliers. We just want an attractive online presence where our audience can come to read quickly about the company's history, inform themselves on recent happenings, and download a price list of our products.
WE LIKE THESE DESIGNS:
www.andyboy.com (I like worn carboard background--gives it that oldschool feel)
www.organicsales.com (I am looking for a similar layout to this)
http://www.driscolls.com/ (Like the simplicity of the design; good looking stock photos)
WE ABSOLUTELY MUST HAVE (or we don't want to see) THIS IN OUR DESIGN:
I'm looking for the modern "Web 2.0" look that also compliments the oldschool look and feel of the logo. Please feel free to make use of fruit and vegetable photos too--misted berries, ripe tomatoes, fluffy heads of lettuce, etc. We carry a full line of fruits and vegetables from the basics or exotics so as long as it looks juicy and delicious it's game.
I have included the company logo and original scan of the truck in the logo...you are free to touch up the logo and truck illustration to your needs. I would love to see the truck given a facelift (we've been using the same scan since the 80's) and I am open to seeing iterations of our logo as long as they feature the truck.
Please try and stick with a color scheme complementary to what's in our logo. Think nature.
Also, the "Home" section of the site will eventually incorporate a blog of some sort to provide company updates so please include a space for news updates on the main page.
