Sites we like:
www.denveria.com - our competitor - please don't copy this site, but DO consider it's design - clean, crisp with 3 services off the home page taking you to sub websites for each service. Nice colors, Nice use of logo in other places. Like the white lines/spaces.
Like the ability to contact and sign up for newsletter on home page.
Like the big image, rich colors. DON'T like the fact that it is a square on a page.
Rich colors, fresh, trendy feel. Simple. Rustic feel - not sure that's what we want, but we'll let you decide.
Striking landscape picture. DON'T like the fact that it's a square.
Like Big Picture, Feel. Don't like the vertical menu.
Simple, big image. Very simple bottom - we like that, but the footer could be bigger.
Nice use of overlay on top of pictures. Don't like scrolling images. Bottom feels busy.
Feels very calming. A very good feel. Like the background picture, but it limits the amount of text space. Site is very simple and feels good.
See how they have outlined the different services in different colors.
Another good example of different services in different colors. Here it is clearer than the rest.
Simple. Nice large image. Not such a huge fan of the home page, but the overall site is creative.
It doesn't get any better than this for simplicity.
The site "feels" like the brand. Well done in that regard.
Don't like the horizontal menu. DO like the simplicity and clean lines. The site is too compact, but the services menu (b/w) is nice. The color choices feel wonderfully simple. If you dig deeper on this site, it gets pretty nice design.
http://www.raymondjames.com/ - clean, simple design - notice the navigation to the main services they offer - personal, institutional, advisor opportunities
