LET ME TELL YOU ABOUT US:

This project is for a company that sells software as a service (hosted applications) to technical and business managers to help in their product development lifecycle. See website at www.rymatech.com for fonts, color schemes, etc.

HERE IS WHAT WE NEED:

We need a website/portal that can be used as a central portal for our customers to submit enhancement requests (new feature requests) for our product lines. Its designed to be a feedback area on what requests have been submitted, their status (i.e. next release, under review, etc) and a place to review what a customer has submitted.

The portal needs to be multi-tenant (see prototype layout) so that we can brand it with our customers logo's and color schemes in the TOP and BOTTOM zones, while maintaining the MIDDLE zone as is.

Page 1) Login page for customers. Should have the typical login interface (username, password, forgot password, register new user, etc...)

Page 2) Registration page for new customers. Username, password

Page 3) Submittal page - Choose the product you're submitting an enhancement for. Also it will contain a custom grid-like table (think excel) that will list all of their previously submitted requests (multiple rows). This grid should be central to the page, and have a tab for "my requests" and another one for "all my companies requests". The tab simply changes what rows are shown. (see attachment to project proposal)

On Page 3 there needs to have the following:

- An area to select the product you want to comment on.

- A button to "create new ER" which brings up a separate form

- Tabs to switch between a personal view and corporate view of all previously submitted ER's

The page should include an area for a logo that has "Powered by...." at the bottom right, a nice top logo/banner that say "Customer Feedback Center" and nice welcome message (or area we can later use to write the welcome message).

We also need all buttons, links, css, graphics, backgrounds and layout. Ideally we do not want single, huge images or maps, but individual images that we can layout as needed. The page must load quickly (many customers are outside of North America where the site is hosted) and it should not contain any video/audio.

The sample layout tries to show the top border middle and bottom border areas, and the final submission should not have to mimic the colors or layout of the sample (it's quite crude!). Its only to show the separation of which section the functionality resides in. Please consult the corporate website for an idea of colors, font, etc

OUR TARGET AUDIENCE IS:

Our customers are mostly business to business, though some b2c customers do exist. They are usually somewhat technical, and primarily want an EASY way to submit enhancement requests for the products they use (could be any type of software product they are using).

We want the portal to come across as 1) professional 2) easy to use 3) collaborative

The most important thing to remember is that this portal is something Ryma will use ourselves, but also sell to other customers so that THEY can collect enhancements on their products as well.
