LET ME TELL YOU ABOUT US:

Employment.com aims at being not only the largest job site, but also a social site. We are looking to depart from the standard job board model to a highly social employment recruitment experience.

HERE IS WHAT WE NEED:

We will need 4 pages designed:

1. Homepage. Which is what we will primarily pick the winner on. While feel free to submit the other pages before the deadline, the other three pages will be required to finish and achieve the full reward. The additional pages will be

2. A social Resume page. (Which would include a photo and potentially a video of the person)

3. A vertical community page which will have jobs and content geared for each vertical such as healthcare or defense / aerospace, etc.

4. A education / learning page or an employer page

OUR TARGET AUDIENCE IS:

Primarily job seekers

Secondarily employers

WE LIKE THESE DESIGNS:

We almost do not want to post here, which might limit your creativity.

In general looking for a modern CSS looking design and one that incorporates social functionality

bnet.com (Nice modern looking design)

koda.us (Do not like homepage or color scheme, but do like profile page setup: ie/ http://koda.us/people/lori

We will add more sites during project, but ideally we want to be very social and very original.

WE ABSOLUTELY MUST HAVE (or we don't want to see) THIS IN OUR DESIGN:

Probably a site width of 1,000 pixels

A significant area set aside for job search, not to exceed 2/3 of the width of the page

Featured Employer Section (1 Employer only with video spot and text)

Featured Employers Section (Larger tiles) (Thinking of more like 125 x 125 ad spots)

Featured Employers Section (Smaller tiles) (These ads are supplied)

IAB standard Square ad 250h x 300w (Ad example is included)

A featured Job listings Area

Featured Colleges or Education Area

A 'Social' Badge' made up of member profile pictures

An area for our new employment magazine which will be called WorkerBee Magazine

If possible I would like to see the individual elements of our logo animate. We included an illustrator file of the logo. Our tag line is tentatively slated to be 'Connecting you with Opportunity' If you can not animate the logo that's ok.
