Updates
We want new look/style for our website. A single page showing colors and general layout.
Our primary message should be that we are a family-owned, medium-sized company, local to the Northern VA/Washington DC region, environmentally responsible, and an enthusiastic promoter of recycling. Check out our current site: http://www.american-disposal.com
Please use our current red, white and blue logo. Other colors are up to you. The logo does NOT include the "Proudly Serving All of Northern Virginia."
We'll be using your general design as inspiration and a rough template for all the pages. The sections will be different than those of the current site and several more pages will be added. We are amenable to buying stock photos or having them taken, so feel free to include picture ideas (ex. a different local landmark photo on each section front) which we would replace with photos taken/acquired later.
We are most interested in a new style and general single page layout that includes a color scheme, menu design, and subsections on the page. If we find one we like, we'll likely need some refining for additional money.
We are not opposed to a template that we can buy outright or that's changed enough to not be easily recognizable. All of the templates we've found so far are mundane or aren't adaptable to our business or style.
We will take pictures of our trucks to match and replace any generic truck pictures you may choose to include in the design.
We want a personal feel, however, our leadership is not interested in having their pictures on the site. We can, however, find drivers who may be photogenic.
Our audience is current customers in the Northern VA area. They include single-family homeowners, apartment managers, businesses and construction companies.
We are toying with the idea of a Kid's section on the site.
A visitor to the site should easily find: current news/postings (weather, schedule changes, holiday info), how to contact the right person, and learn more about our recycling service.
I hope this makes sense and is enough guidance. Thank you for you attention.
