LET ME TELL YOU ABOUT US:

We offer consumers (and businesses) a peer-to-peer-based softwareplatform.

It is free for consumers, and it offers vast amount of end-to-end communication posibillities. We don't want to say much more, since we are still flying under the radar.

It's kinda filesharing/instantmessaging/telephony communication... just in a broader more generic sense...

We normally say that we are re-connecting the internet...

(for example, try to establish a file transfer directly from one pc to another on the internet is nearly impossible for average user, our aim is to make that kind of thing simple, but still secure).

HERE IS WHAT WE NEED:

We are primarily a team of programmers. We can do all the webpage stuff, but it allways turn out to look like done by programmers ;-)

We need someone to deliver graphics, themes and the like. We don't expect you to deliver all the final graphics for the page (impossible with the now disclosed information), but your proposal should cover the overall look-and-feel of the generic pages with buttons, textboxes, menu's, and so on, which should be possible.

What we wish the most is finished (static) html pages, style-sheets and graphics, and a "design manual" for some of the pages in the attached documents.

We should be able to use the delivered as a template/example when we program the rest website.

We have included (see attached file) a rough flowchart of some neutral part of the website (the whole thing is a lot bigger, but we don't want to disclose it).

The main (front) page is "Overview".

(In the overview page "3-user-examples" are (graphical) elements that each describe an example usecase of our softwareplatform)

We need to somehow get a verification that your design proposal can fairly easily be used by our programmers.

We have earlier experienced some pure graphic based design delivered to us (as a raw image) that was nearly impossible to convert into HTML parts.

Also, too much hacking (or messy) HTML, will to us, be negative... as earlier stated it should be fairly easy for the programmer to be in-line with the overall design, without the programmer having to spend ages adjusting each new page he generates.

OUR TARGET AUDIENCE IS:

Primarily consumers, home-pc based. In the start it will be "first-movers"... probably technical guys, but we are targetting the average john-doe home-pc-user... so it should be designed for him.

In the long run also business should use our service.

WE LIKE THESE DESIGNS:

We like thin, fast, light webpages.

Light colors. Not to much text on each page. Use of normal webstandards for easy user-understanding (links are underscored, scolling is allways vertical and so on, menus are to the left or top). Consistent use and semantics of "active"-elements on all pages .

The site should be based on as pure lightweight HTML as posible, easy to understand and to view.

But basically. We are all programmers, we don't know what we like before we see it (or the correct wording would be that we don't have the vocabulary to express what we like, sorry).

WE ABSOLUTELY MUST HAVE (or we don't want to see) THIS IN OUR DESIGN:

We don't want pure flash based pages or the like. We are not scared of flash elements in webpages, but flash-only based webpages, to us, equals problems (f.x. with search engines).
