We are a third generation family-owned cabinet company. We design and manufacture cabinets to the trade (builders). Our target market is the medium to high-end production home builders (tract homes); however we won't turn away end users (individual renovations/ custom homes). Our core business is kitchens and baths, but we also mfg custom casework i.e. libraries, entertainment centers.

White collar professionals in the building industry, from COO to purchasing agents and superintendents. Also, interior designers who play a large part in the selection process. The audience is highly sophisticated, but the industry as a whole is not. We want to be the ones to continue to raise the bar, and the site is integral in expressing that message to the world.

We are THE premier cabinet company. We are driven to provide the best service in the industry.
We are a cutting edge design firm. Much more than a cabinet builder- we are modern and innovative, but still maintain the old-school ethics and workmanship of a craftsman.
I want the website to be super high tech but very user friendly. I also want to engage the viewer with a fun and interactive site. Please see the dosequis.com site. Although a completely different industry, it is very innovative, savvy and unpredictable in its presentation. It has a drop up menu and pleasant clicking sounds as you're navigating. I would love for our site to have a big-time ad agency presence. Please :)
Style and Concept
WHAT STYLES DO YOU LIKE?
A polished site that imparts a high-end image that goes way beyond a typical small cabinet company. More than simply a manufacturer, we serve as a bridge at the design stage of home building, thus the name Cabinet Architect. I would like to somehow have a blueprint/ old-school mimeographed sketches of kitchen designs, perhaps screened back as a backdrop, and in another creative way for the front page.
Please think about using creative references to architecture, clean lines- not fussy. References to old school style.
WHAT COLORS DO YOU LIKE OR HATE?
Blue-print blue and white are our colors. Please see our logo image we just awarded. Since we will be showcasing wood cabinets, the blue will serve well as a backdrop. Black is another favorite of mine. I really like silver and gold as well, if it represents dimension- no flat PMS colors- "real" metallic please! I hate green.
ANY OTHER ADDITIONAL INFO? (OPTIONAL)
We pride ourselves in making fine furniture-quality cabinets with european mechanisms on a production line. We had a thriving business under the name Eurodesign in the 80's and 90's and successfully captured the lionshare of the market. After selling the company to investors who eventually drove the company into bankruptcy, the Eurodesign name was bought by our biggest competitor.
We were recently able to acquire the remaining assets and start a new company. The tagline "built upon generations of experience" is a reference to Eurodesign.
