What do you do?

I am a twentysomething writer/blogger/speaker who aims to help guide fellow emerging adults through the awkward, confusing, scary, exciting transition process of growing up. I'm launching my first book on this transition process in the Spring titled: Are You My Life?: Searching for Self, Faith, and a Freaking Job!

Do you have a desired website screen size?

How many pages (maximum of 5) do you need designed?

3 - homepage, subpage, and book promo page.

Target Audience

What is your industry?

Book Publishing/Faith/Blogging/Social Media

Describe the target audience for your website design

18-30 yrs old, mainly college educated and struggling with the "what now" after college.

Audience is those who read http://www.relevantmagazine.com/.

What 3 things would you like to communicate to your audience through your website design

1. Engaging, Honest, Fun, Informative twentysomething resource community site

2. In a funny, sarcastic way the design should play off this idea of going from growing to grown, from kids to adults. Not in a childish way, but in a crisp, artistic, simplistic way

How is your company different from your competitors?

Authentic. Honest. Sarcastic. Funny. Searching for Truth. Informative.

Style and Concept

What website design styles do you like?

Retro/Slightly Funky, Clean, with Artistic details that makes the website feel unique. Not too girly design though as I'm not a girl, but do want it to appeal to both genders.

A mix of these three sites:

Rather be lighter than darker but nothing too bright. A use of reds or blues, with mix of black/white

Bright yellow

What adjectives should best describe your website design?

Crisp typography, Not too Busy

What content must be included in the website design?

With Your Host Paul Angone - Incorporated somewhere in the top

Do you have additional requirements or links you want to share?

Homepage -

Header: ALL GROAN UP, fairly large in a handwriting font like the font attached or use your own, with any other creative touches you'd like. Tagline and "With Your Host Paul Angone" incorporated.

Right side of header or directly below: A fairly large placeholder for scrolling images like the ones I've attached.

Twitter feed designed somewhere in top portion and handrawn style RSS Subscribe, Facebook and Vimeo buttons. Like these: http://www.jankoatwarpspeed.com/post/200...

Main home page layout: Two column LARGE BOX LAYOUT, blog/magazine style. Each post with clear separation from the others. Each box post displayed has a picture, prominent title, with around 50 words of text of the article that will be clicked on to display full text. A number of how many people have commented on the article should be displayed with each box post.

Right sidebar: Placeholder at top-right side bar for welcome/intro video. Room for widgets to be added

Book promo page: Book cover large image. Some of the egg photos and pictures of me incorporated in the page. Place for description of book, links to online booksellers like Amazon and large text for endorsements for the book.
