LET ME TELL YOU ABOUT US:
Faith Alive is the publishing group of the Christian Reformed Church and the resource provider of the Reformed Church in America. For over fifty years Faith Alive has been helping to transform lives and communities worldwide by publishing materials for Sunday school and other childrens ministries, youth ministry, adults and small groups, prayer and evangelism, church leadership, worship and special needs. Faith Alive also publishes the Banner, the monthly magazine of the Christian Reformed Church; Reformed Worship, a quarterly journal for worship planners and leaders; as well as theological books for church leaders in Spanish under the name Libros Desafio.
HERE IS WHAT WE NEED:
We are launching a daily (M-F) inspirational eNewsletter. The newsletter will pull 2-3 inspirational paragraphs from multiple existing printed Faith Alive content (e.g. books, etc.) into a daily opt-in devotional/inspirational email. In addition to the 2-3 paragraphs the eNewsletter will carry the image and title of the book from which the content came.
We need an enewsletter HTML template that can we used with an HTML editor so we can insert our own content. Our current enewsletters have style sheets for font sizes, colors, etc. and that would be helpful also. Our current header graphics for our e-newsletters are 454 pixels wide x 120 pixels high, which work well for us, but we're open to new ideas. Verdana is our standard font for website and enewsletters.
OUR TARGET AUDIENCE IS:
Fairly broad. Men and women who attend church; pastors and church leaders and church educators aged 35-55, Bible study leaders and teachers
WE LIKE THESE DESIGNS:
Simple and clean overall, not unlike the Faith Alive website (www.faithaliveresources.org). Avoid traditional or pastoral. Looking for vibrant and fresh use of color.
WE ABSOLUTELY MUST HAVE (or we don't want to see) THIS IN OUR DESIGN:
-Faith Alive name and logo in the template (logos at: http://www.crcna.org/pages/graphics.cfm)
-the name Everyday Faith Alive
-placeholder for cover image (approx. size?)
-placeholder for rotating stock photo to match the text of the day (approx. size?)
-required text: view images
-required text: share with a friend
-required text: read more from this book
-required text: Buy Now
