I retired from the Executive Staff of Lever Brothers Company where I had responsibility for designing and developing computer-based strategic planning systems for one of the leading consumer packaged goods companies in the world. Lever Brothers is owned by Unilever. I consulted in that same field for 12 yars and at the same time, wrote for business publications. I was a columnist for Advertising Age, writing a column on word usage and popular speech, especially celebrity remarks and usage. I am in Marquis 'Who's Who in the East, "Who's Who in Finance and Industry" and "Who's Who in Advertising". I was chosen to be a Fellow of the Planning Executives Institute and served on their Board of Directors. For the past 16 years, I have been a writer/columnist/reporter for newspapers and magazines in New York City, Greenwich & Stamford, CT; Boca Raton, FL; Salt Lake City, Provo and Spanish Fork, UT. My monograph "A View from the Top - How Chief Executives Look at Planning" is in university libraries and a novel "Satan's Caravan" is in publication. During my 26 years with Lever Brothers, I was a forecaster, COBOl programmer and systems analyst (IBM360/370); consumer affairs manager; corporate analyst; sales analyst. I taught classes in Product management for the American Management Associations in NYC and Chicago. I designed and taught a program on the product management system used by consumer packaged goods companies for Indiana Bell when they were changing over to such a system.
