The correct spelling is Marine Corps.  Be sure to use the ’S’
• USMC is preferred over Marine, U.S. Marine, United States Marine Corps they can be used if the layout needs it for aesthetics or theme.
• Other words associated with the Marine Corps: Leatherneck / Devil Dog (really mean bull dog, usually with a Drill instructor’s hat on) / Grunt(s) / Ooorah / Brotherhood / First To Fight
• No Tanks, Planes or Vehicles (they are too specific and detail dependent to be worth printing).
• Flags are always a crowd pleaser just remember that the American flag’s orientation means specific things, mainly where the Blue field is i.e. upside down means ‘in distress’ etc.  Heres a site for reference: http://www.ushistory.org/betsy/flagetiq....
• Distressed is better than not distressed when it comes to finishing art.
• No drug or alcohol use or implied use.
• Skulls are okay (they are a bit played out though unless you can re-invent the wheel) but cannot be associated directly or indirectly with the EGA (marine Corps logo).
• Guns: can be used but not shown being fired or pointed at anyone or the viewer.  Soldiers can be shown aiming and holding.  IMPORTANT: any USMC corps gear or equipment MUST be accurate - right down to current camo patterns used, even water canteens. If You don’t know please research, the USMC website has a lot of great reference as well as the DoD website.
• Marines themselves like subtle designs nothing that screams “I’m a Marine” but represents - but we also sell to Marine families (moms, dads, sisters, etc) keep that in mind as you are developing.
• Another great resource is Marine related memes, there is a lot of great inspirational quotes and phrases that are not already shirt designs but could be. Google: "marine inspirational" several are good but a bit too word-y so if you’re able to make it more concise it would be better. some of them are funny too, don’t shy away from humor.

• Legendary Marine: Gen. Chesty Puller http://www.wearethemighty.com/articles/t...
• Famous Marine Gen. Jim “Mad Dog” Mattis also known ad the warrior monk.http://freebeacon.com/national-security/the-best-from-mad-dog-mattis/

Top 3 Things

Professionalism, Strength, Brotherhood
