CrossFit Costa Mesa
What do you do?
We are a gym. A bad ass, ass kicking gym. We lift heavy weight, run hard, compete with each other, and perform some advanced gymnastics. We destroy our bodies and rebuild them.
List the size requirement(s) for your clothing design
I want an all over print targeting the back of the shirt, 2 designs actually, one for guys and one girls.
What is your industry?
Fitness and Sports
Describe the target audience for your clothing design
25-45 year old men and women who are committed to changing their lives. Athletes and competitors.
What 3 things would you like to communicate to your audience through your clothing design?
A sense of accomplishment for earning the shirt. It will be awarded to people based on effort and results. I want it to express community and a sense of belonging and a feeling of "Yes, that's a badass shirt"
Style and Concept
What clothing design styles do you like?
www.forgedclothing.com, but the toned down ones. Not the overly aggressive "afflication" style douchy ones.
How many colors should be used in the design?
What colors do you want to see in your clothing design?
I want a bright yellow shirt base. Black font and black silhouette of an athletic man (and women for their version) and then a slightly darker yellow for the image of the phoenix (fire bird) coming out from behind the person. (See attached behemoth example) I am open to having the design on the front or the back with our gym name on the other side. I'm not super picky, just want to see how they might look.
What colors do you NOT want to see in your clothing design?
I'm open to a variation of the design above but on a dark shirt with a bright yellow font and silhouette. Inverting the colors from the above.
What adjectives should best describe your clothing design?
Special, deserved, badass,
How will you use the clothing design?
One side of the shirt will have our gyms name in our designated font Bank Gothic (attached) I would like the name of the gym to be "CrossFit" on the top line with "Costa Mesa" centered below it. The other will have the silhoutte of the man (or woman) with a giant overarching shadow of a phoenix (mythical fire bird) rising from behind the person.
What must be included in the clothing design?
The above imagery
