Second Wind CrossFit
What do you do?
We are a CrossFit gym located in Washington, D.C. CrossFit is a fitness program based on constantly varied, functional movement done at high intensity. We lift weights and do gymnastics. We are a community of people trying to get fit together.
List the size requirement(s) for your clothing design
We are looking for a new design for t-shits. Sizes will range from small to XXL. The Men's t-shirt will be an American Apparel track shirt in charcoal or gray. The Womens will be a razor tank top with "burnt" style fabric.

Edgy, gritty, industrial, retro...not polished and corporate
Style and Concept
What clothing design styles do you like?
How many colors should be used in the design?
What colors do you want to see in your clothing design?
white, red and gray/black
What colors do you NOT want to see in your clothing design?
What adjectives should best describe your clothing design?
edgy, gritty, retro, industrial
How will you use the clothing design?
To actually work out in and to market the gym, so the logo should be recognizable and visible.
What must be included in the clothing design?
On the front: Our logo, and incorporated somewhere, a D.C. Flag.
On the back, the phrase "Peace, Love & Power"
The logo should remain essentially the same...we are not looking for a new logo, but could be "treated" differently. For example, it could be turned vertically.
Do you have additional info or links you'd like to share?
We want the logo involved, but it doesn't have to be front and center. It could be vertical, down the side. We also want to incorporate the DC flag. See the attached file of the Pursuit t-shirt as an example using the American flag. Something where the flag is apparent, but not blatantly so. If the logo can be worked into the flag, great.
Another idea we would love to see: attached is a photo of a sweat angel. This is what happens at the end of a workout, when someone is so tired, they lay down on the floor. When they get up, there is a sweat angel. It has become somewhat of a symbol for hard workouts. We love the image and maybe instead of a DC Flag, we use this angel. On the attached photo there is a CrossFit logo, which is also pretty cool. See the link below for more images.
