Mark West has become one of the Top 5 best selling Pinot Noirs in America as people have come to realize the incredible value the wine provides. Just as Mark West brings wine drinkers a Pinot for the People we now want the "People" to be involved in our wine.
HERE IS WHAT WE NEED:
Mark West Pinot Noir is looking for a new, eye-catching design to illustrate its slogan: "Pinot for the People". Mark West is a recognizable and well-loved brand, so the bottle label and company logo will not change, but should be cleverly incorporated into your Pinot for the People design.
"Pinot for the People" conveys a message about bringing wine to the everyday people and eliminating the elitist and often over-serious attitude of wine, especially Pinot Noir. We are looking for a strong visual representation of this slogan. (Please note, Pinot for the People is trademarked by Mark West.)
The winning t-shirt design will debut at the 2009 Pinot Days Wine Tasting Event in San Francisco, which attracts over 2500 wine lovers each year.
We have attached a copy of the Mark West logo and a bottle shot to familiarize yourself with the wine.
OUR TARGET AUDIENCE IS:
Wine enthusiasts, wine novices and everyday wine drinkers in between. Our audience wants to take the seriousness out of wine and enjoy it for what it is.
WE ABSOLUTELY MUST HAVE (or we don't want to see) THIS IN OUR DESIGN:
Somewhere in the design the slogan "Pinot for the People" must be included, as well as the Mark West name. We welcome creative uses of the t-shirt to include these, as they do not have to be the main focus.
