LET ME TELL YOU ABOUT US:
We run an educaional program for students grades 6-12. At competition, we sell t-shirts. We're a non-profit and we really don't make much. They're meant to be momentos. They also serve as our "uniform" as the National contest. Each state has its own shirt.
HERE IS WHAT WE NEED:
We need something cool, fun, and relevant to kids, but also relates to Ohio and history. We need it to be four color. We use a printer that needs a four color vector design. We usually do the t-shirt in two colors. One more muted, another one that will stand out at the national contest.
OUR TARGET AUDIENCE IS:
Students in 6-12 grades. The students participate in National History Day in Ohio (www.ohiohistoryday.org) which is basically a more intense version of science fair for history.
WE LIKE THESE DESIGNS:
I've fiddled with a few ideas that you can find on our slideshare website at: http://www.slideshare.net/meganwood It is the slideshow that called T-Shirt Design Ideas or something similar. But I'm open to other ideas as well.
WE ABSOLUTELY MUST HAVE (or we don't want to see) THIS IN OUR DESIGN:
It has to be appropriate for school kids.
