What do you do?
A division of our company creates and sells officially licensed collegiate apparel. Our products are sold to a variety of clients across the United States including big box retailers, local fan shops, on campus bookstores, and more. The one thing to consistently set up apart from the rest of the vendors has been innovative designs.
List the size requirement(s) for your clothing design
Your design should not exceed 14" x 15".
We do not want any designs that will print over a garment's seams, or above the bottom of the garment's collar.

Describe the target audience for your clothing design
For the fashion shirts, we are targeting the coed who wants to represent their favorite university, while also looking a step ahead. Men or women between the ages of 16 and 24 are the likely target for this style of shirt.
What 3 things would you like to communicate to your audience through your clothing design?
1. Support for their university. Either its primary logo or its name should be part of the design.
2. This is not your standard, boring college t-shirt.
Style and Concept
What clothing design styles do you like?
We are looking for an original idea. Other styles are not relevant. It can be very basic or very intricate. Genius is genius.
How many colors should be used in the design?
No more than eight.
What colors do you want to see in your clothing design?
Open to your perspective.
What colors do you NOT want to see in your clothing design?
What adjectives should best describe your clothing design?
Innovative, unique, creative, awesome, fantastic, unbelievable.
How will you use the clothing design?
This design will be added to our 2012 catalog of apparel designs. This catalog will be sent to thousands of apparel buyers around the country. Hopefully your design will show up in stores next fall!
What must be included in the clothing design?
You can create your design around any university or college you like. The best designs will have a core concept that can be easily translatable and relatable for all universities, their logos, and their text. Feel free to use a generic/placeholder logo in your submission(s).
There should be no mention of another university or another universitys mascot in the design.
Designs must not use any officially licensed mark, other than the university marks, in the design. (ie Chevy, Taco Bell, Coke, Microsoft, etc)
Do not use university marks in any manner that suggests or implies endorsement of products, services, political parties or views, or religious organizations or beliefs.
University marks may not be used in connection with alcoholic beverages, illegal drugs, tobacco, gambling, inherently dangerous products such as firearms and explosives, or sexually suggestive products or language.
