LET ME TELL YOU ABOUT US:
4thirteen is a line of Christian message graphic tees. You can check out what we currently have at www.4thirteen.net.
HERE IS WHAT WE NEED:
We are in need of a collection (preferably 4) patriotic t-shirt designs with a Christian message included in them.
OUR TARGET AUDIENCE IS:
All ages and uni-sex. These designs will be printed on youth x-small all the way through adult xx-large and need to appeal to both boys & girls.
WE LIKE THESE DESIGNS:
Think those patriotic tees on all the tables for $5 around the 4th of July that you see. Started by Old Navy of course. The are very red, white & blue and usually fairly simple but yet sophisticated and not without some detail and very good layout.
WE ABSOLUTELY MUST HAVE (or we don't want to see) THIS IN OUR DESIGN:
Elements: Flag of course is a huge key, an eagle being second, then stars, banners, crests or any other in style type of background or filler art.
Design: Each design must be shown on White, Heather (gray) & Navy background. Half of submitted designs should be center front/standard location print. The other half to be a shoulder location print that is so popular now on t-shirt screen printing. On the front/center location print please provide one with the flag turned down look (as if it were hanging).
Taglines/Name Drops: The best ones by far to use are "One Nation, Under God", "In God We Trust", "Land of the Free", "God Bless America", "Faith, Family, Freedom" & "God Shed His Grace on Thee" .
For God Shed His Grace on Thee use: 1 Chronicles 16:24 "Declare his glory among the nations, his marvelous deeds among all peoples."
For One Nation Under God & Land of the Free use: Psalm 33:12 "Blessed is the nation whose God is the LORD, the people he chose for his inheritance."
For God Bless America use: Psalm 47:8 "God reigns over the nations; God is seated on his holy throne."
For In God We Trust use: Matthew 12:21 "In his name the nations will put their hope."
For Faith, Family, Freedom use: Romans 16:26 "but now revealed and made known through the prophetic writings by the command of the eternal God, so that all nations might believe and obey him."
Secondary Wording: Good things to have smaller and in banners or above & below or just for filler are EST. 1776, Since 1776, Faith Tested, United States (of America), or anything else like these you think might fit or be cool. If none of these are necessary for the design and the main tagline and flag and scripture reference seems to be enough keep it simple and don't force this.
File Type(s): Upon completion and selection I would need whatever file type you created the design in. If in Illustrator, then an .ai file and if Photoshop then .psd file both in CS2. Submissions of course are JPG's.
