We're a big food company in Italy looking for new shapes for a new Premium line of biscuits. The Brand is the recognised leader within the bakery market and it has a strong and mature brand equity, based on values such as Simplicity, Wholesomeness, Trust and Respect. We compete in many different categories with a wide product offering meant to satisfy families and individuals of all ages.
We are now developing a new range of biscuits meant to compete in the high-end of the market and made using a new technology that enables us to develop a new generation of biscuits, characterized by greater fullness of taste, richness and roundness of savors and aromas and surprising textures.
The main consumption occasion will be at breakfast and most of the users will enjoy them dipped in warm beverages (milk, tea).
HERE IS WHAT WE NEED:
We are looking for new and attractive shapes for our range of biscuits.
The shape should be natural, elegant and simple without being banal. It should convey the spirit of things made with love and care.
It should celebrate the ingredients and reveal their beauty, where possible (e.g. fruits bits, chocolate, etc)
Please try and show the proposed solutions in 3D renderings.
If possible (but not mandatory at all) also show what is your feeling for the packaging that should contain the product.
OUR TARGET AUDIENCE IS:
The new range is meant for people that would like to start the day being delighted by new tasty flavours and susprising textures, eating biscuits able to offer a genuine and artisanallike experience.
They appreciate the pleasure of eating well and they are keen on experimenting new kinds of food/tastes and users of premium price food brands)

Dimensions and thickness: the product needs to be contained within a 5 cm square and the thickness should be of 10-12 mm
We do not need ingredients exploration: only PRODUCT DESIGN.
We don't need any design on the surface unless it is meant to create the shape itself.
