LET ME TELL YOU ABOUT US:

Our winery is the first sustainable carbon zero winery in the world. We are from New Zealand and the owners of the company are a group of young people in their 20's that want to take the snobbery out of wine and make it fun and accessible for everyone. We like to think of ourselves as the new face of wine and therefore want the packaging to be reflected in a way that is fresh modern and cleverly artistic.

HERE IS WHAT WE NEED:

We need a logo and package design for our new brand "New World Wine Co". Being that we are an eco-friendly wine company our wine will be packaged in tetra packs (a fancy name for boxed wine) The dimensions of the tetra pack cube is 10x10x10 (inches) and it will have rounded edges versus the traditional sharp edges. The front section of the box will contain the brand information and must include the following traditional wine label elements. Name of the Company(New World Wine Co) year made(2009) varietal(Sauvignon Blanc) Region(Marlborough New Zealand) volume(750mls) also sustainable and carboNZero wine. We are also attaching an image of concentric circles that is actually an optical illusion (so as you focus on the dot in the middle of the circles and move towards the image they appear to be moving in unison in a clockwise direction) and we would like this to be the symbol of the company and incorporated into the packaging somehow. Being a sustainable company, we like the idea of things coming full circle and working in unison together. The idea is that it will grab peoples eye and attention when sitting on the shelf and also represent the core values of our company. That being said, you will have allot of surface area to play with on the other 4 sides of the cube, the back must be kept clear for the wine description and technical information. Things to translate in this design would be pure New Zealand, fun, young, delicious, organic looking, something modern that would stand out on the super market shelf and look good on the dinner table (not like a cheap box of wine!) . You can also play around with the printing, by incorporating textured varnishes,metallic inks,complex embossing and debossing (UV inks out of four color process, various textured coatings, pearl and thermochromic coatings) The design needs to have the ability to change varietal and region/country for other offerings from our range. So please think about colors/design, we would need them to be different but obviously from within a range from the same brand.

OUR TARGET AUDIENCE IS:

Our target audience is 21-40 predominately female. We would like them to be surprised that a box wine looks this good compared to the old school traditional design of boxed wine. We want people to be impressed and want to tell and show people how there is this really delicious boxed wine that is a good price and the packaging is modern and clever along with being eco - friendly.

We are not looking for a typical box wine design, there is really nothing out there we like in which we can show you an example. But we do have links to examples of design below in other sectors we like. like I stated earlier, we like creative design that is clever that ANYONE can easily understand and experience and still communicates the idea of delicious, pure, sustainable, carbonzero wine from New Zealand.

We must absolutely have a logo & package that Rocks! Besides that, don't need to go over the top with the green theme.
