Style and Concept
What print design styles do you like?
I've attached the screen shots of what will be our new website- think www.apple.com look. I've also attached some samples of colorful print articles/photos from an university alumni magazine. We want our publication to be very eye-catching with fonts and photos. Can you find some interesting stock photos for us too?
What colors do you want to see in your print design?
mainly our logo and company colors are navy (Pantone 295) and white. We're open to other colors that fit with the various article themes or that resemble the look of our website. I've attached some screen shots of it.
What colors do you NOT want to see in your print design?
What adjectives should best describe your print design?
modern, innovative, interesting, NOT busy or distracting.
How will you use the print design?
We will mail the publication to current and potential customers. We will have them at marketing events like tradeshows and conferences.
What content must be included in the print design?
I provided our logo(s) and a previous issue of our magazine as a reference. We'll actually have the total of 6-7 short articles/essays that have 2-3 photos each, a picture of the author, and their biography in the issue we mail to clients. I've uploaded only one of these articles with its respected photos so you can creative a sample layout for us. You will find screen shots of our new website- we want this magazine to have that same modern look. I've also provided colorful sample designs I like from other publications. Please provide a cover design for this publication as well- the name of this is "The Chronicle".
