Our Story:
In the Fall of 2015, a team of 15 Veterans at the University of Texas McCombs Business School MBA Program conducted research into the Veteran Transition Experience and challenges facing todays veterans. Following 8-months of research and analysis of existing Veteran transition programs, the team developed a solution to take Veteran transition issues head-on.and hence, the Vetted Foundation was born. Word of mouth quickly spread about the Vetted initiative. Texas private and public sector leaders approached the Veteran team to assist with the stand-up and execution of the Vetted Foundation. The University of Texas at Austin and Texas A&M University Business Schools, known competitors, came together to lead the development of the Veteran Accelerated Management Program and Veteran Business Foundations Program curriculums, all in the name of helping todays Veterans.
Future Programs:
Following the completion of the pilot programs, the Vetted Foundation will scale these Veteran Business programs to additional universities within Texas and other states. The Vetted Foundation will stand up additional programs in the future because not all veterans want to be business executives. The next two identified programs are:
Veterans Business Foundations Program (targeting Non-commissioned Officers)
Industry Specific Education: vocational training in data analytics, full-stack web development, cyber-security, enterprise sales, etc.
