LET ME TELL YOU ABOUT US:
We are starting a new business venture selling high-end specialty iPhone cases and silicone skins.
This particular product-line consists of Polynesian-themed skins & cases, exclusively of our own design.
HERE IS WHAT WE NEED:
We need a custom poster designed to help us promote our products.
Our imagined purpose for the poster we'd like you to create would be something we could send to customers who send in an "action shot" of themselves with their tiki case doing something fun or interesting, much the way that ThinkGeek does: http://www.thinkgeek.com/action-shots/
Our idea for the poster is a tiki-bar scene, shown from the bartender's perspective, in which the tiki case is at the bar, drinking from a mug that also looks like him. Seated next to him is a brunette (possibly pin-up style) laughing. Behind them, in amongst the tiki-bar stuff, perhaps a few tiki-geek references like a photo of Victor Bergeron, a Gauguin print, or maybe something by Leeteg.
We'd like it to be pretty rich with subtle tiki-culture jokes & references.
The poster can be oriented portrait or landscape; we've no preference.
If you would like to create a poster that's wildly different from what I've described above, but think we might like it anyway, let me know. We like our idea, but maybe there are other, better ideas out there.
OUR TARGET AUDIENCE IS:
Someone with an iPhone who's bored by simple (mostly dull) cases currently available. This is not about protecting your phone; it's about personalizing it.
Remember that Tiki culture is many times associated with drinking, so it's not strictly necessary that the art appeal to children.
WE LIKE THESE DESIGNS:
WE ABSOLUTELY MUST HAVE THIS IN OUR DESIGN:
Tiki + fun + our iPhone case.
And, since this poster is going to be used to promote our products, it should feature the product.
