What is your industry?
Describe the target audience for your print design
60% male; 40% female.
*Upper middle income to high income consumers; average household income of $85K and up.
*Well educated consumer; 75% have bachelors degrees, and 30% have some advanced education (graduate school, executive training, etc.)
*Success and personal growth oriented consumers who are leaders and who prefer to "move towards" positive outcomes vs. "move away from" negative outcomes.
*Middle aged consumers who are interested in keeping their brain healthy, active and alert to continue to compete in their jobs and contribute to their larger community through their senior years.
*We want our customers to think of Nightingale-Conant as a high-end, premium priced publisher, who distributes life changing ideas. We are looking to position the content as unique, different and "exclusive"----so it is not compared to the vast amounts of audio content available on the web (to avoid looking at the product as a "commodity.") To make a comparison, if we were in the chocolate business we want our customers to think of Nightingale-Conant, and by extension, this program, as the Godiva (gold wrapped gourmet chocolate experience)----not as Hershey's!

How will you use the print design?
For an audio program cover
What content must be included in the print design?
We need a creative cover design for a 6 CD + workbook audio program called:
Main Title: The Optimism Advantage
Subtitle:10 Qualities of Confident and Resilient People
Author: by Tony Alessandra and Terry Paulson
The Main title should be larger than the subtitle. The authors names must appear on the cover as well. Given that the authors is well-kwown to our audience, his name should be larger than normal for a program cover---although not too large.
We need the file to be delivered in a format that can be adapted and edited by our creative team.
To stimulate ideas for the cover, here is a concept which details the main ideas in The Optimism Advantage program:
This breakthrough new program from Dr. Tony Alessandra and Dr. Terry Paulson is a refreshingly practical program that turns positive psychological research into insights on how you can develop an unshakable confidence that produces real-world results. This inspirational program from two of Americas most respected thought leaders helps you trade feelings of helplessness and frustration for the flexible optimism, innovative resourcefulness, and strategic persistence that the unshakably confident people exhibit every day. The authors of The Optimism Advantage and The Platinum Rule show you how easy it is to
Stop being your own worst enemy and become your own best supporter
Manage your own motivation instead of being dependent on others
Experience more peaks and fewer valleys
Make today count by turning adversity into opportunities
Become a problem solver instead of a problem evader
Stay in the game when others give up
Trade victim thinking for earned optimism and unshakable resilience
Build on whats working and learn from whats not
Transform lifelong learning into a personal and strategic advantage
Quickly turn your worries into constructive attitudes and actions
Now, wouldnt you rather be unshakably confident? In the good and the tough times, this program provides you with a roadmap to an optimistic outlook and unshakable confidence that works. Youll listen to this program over and over again to master the simple yet powerful qualities that the confident people exhibit every day.
