Synopsis

This book presents intimate conversations with four unique spiritual teachers who have each undergone a radical process of spiritual awakening, the unfolding of infinite energy within.
This great power existing deep within the Soul is known by many names. Some choose to call it Shakti, Chi or Kundalini. For the followers of Christ it is revered as the Holy Spirit.
This Eternal living current is presently awakening powerfully in the collective body of humanity. Its awakening in us heralds the emergence of Compassion, manifesting the Unity of Heaven and Earth in the heart of man.
As the interviews progressed a unique pattern emerged. During pivotal periods of his spiritual journey, each was graced with a profound encounter with the Divine Feminine. While the Divine Feminine is not the specific focus of this book, it does emerge as a deep undercurrent theme in the spiritual journeys of the teachers featured herein.

Style and Content

What colors do you want to see in your design?

I am open to seeing what the designers come up with. Yet, I also tend to like red, blue or black backgrounds with gold letters.

What colors do you NOT want to see in your design?

I am open.

Describe the style(s) you like (traditional, modern, etc.)

Classical, traditional, modern. I am keen for the design to be inclusive of all types of spiritual paths, so as such I want to keep any imagery fairly non-sectarian. Images such as sun light on a natural scene or a lotus flower or single flower such as a rose. Or waves and the ocean. Or the sky. Yet, here again I am open to possibility. I will attach some links to a few designs that like. (Amazon links)

(Back cover) -

This book presents intimate conversations with four unique spiritual teachers who have each undergone a radical process of spiritual awakening. This is the awakening of the spiritual current within a human being, the dance of the Timeless with time. It's the dissolution/integration of the small sense of self into the Infinite Ocean of Being, and the subsequent full embodiment of that awakening in daily life. In this book I am referring to this process as energetic awakening. (Space required)

Principally, this is a book of intimate encounters with teachers who have undergone this process of energetic awakening in depth, and who teach with an emphasis on the awakening of the deeper energies in consciousness. Such energetic opening is intrinsic to the process of incarnating or embodying the Larger Self in ordinary human life. (Space required)

As the process of conducting the interviews for this book unfolded, a unique pattern emerged. During pivotal periods of their awakenings, each of the teachers had been graced with a profound encounter with the Divine Feminine. While the Divine Feminine, as such, is not the specific focus of this book, it does form an intrinsic part of the total weave, and is indeed a deep undercurrent theme in the spiritual journeys of each of the teachers featured herein. (About author-back cover)
David Rivers is a modern Tantric Yogi, a writer, artist and spiritual journalist. In his early twenties he was profoundly impacted by a sudden and unexpected spiritual awakening which birthed a powerful flow of subtle life energy known as Kundalini. His spiritual journey has been filled with paradox, with bliss and pain co-existing in equal measure, in a kind of dance between darkness and light. He currently resides in Australia, where he continues to deepen his spiritual practice.
