Aligned Action, Inc.
What do you do?
This project is a book cover for a business political thriller written by Ron Wilder, CEO/Founder of Aligned Action. Aligned Action's business is primarily executive and business coaching and consulting.
Story Concept -- Starting in 2012, the incandescent light bulb, invented by Thomas Edison, will be illegal in the United States as Congress mandated a shift to compact fluorescent bulbs. The story starts with an Al Qaida plot where the terrorists exploit the mercury in CFLs to cause a widespread public panic. Meanwhile, retired Navy Captain Tom Jackson, now an entrepreneur, has started a high risk venture to manufacture incandescent bulbs in the hopes they will become legal again. Toms plans are thwarted by a corrupt congressman and a progressive media star, Elaine Mitchell. After dramatic Congressional hearings, Tom is on the run as a fugitive, trying to return home to the company he built. The story culminates with a secession crisis at Fort Sumter, South Carolina, where the first shots of the civil war were fired in 1861.

Style and Concept
What print design styles do you like?
I want a cover that is very attractive on Kindle and web, in the espioniage/thriller genre.
Authors/covers that I like best:
Idea --- Create an image of Fort Sumter like the photo --- like the Eiffel Tower in the background of Kill Shot.
Ive attached 1 page with an aerial photo of Fort sumter wondering if something like this could work.
Idea -- like the cover for Locked On, what about a light bulb (regular incandescent) as an image?
What colors do you want to see in your print design?
Bold striking design worthy of a suspense thriller.
What colors do you NOT want to see in your print design?
No pastels as primary colors.
What adjectives should best describe your print design?
How will you use the print design?
The title, "The 100 Watt War" and the author's name, "Ron Wilder' should be in bold on the cover.
