I need two half-page advertisements for a new product to be introduced at the 2009 PGA Merchandise Show. One ad will be displayed in PGA Merchandise Show pre-planning material and the other will be included in the printed PGA Merchandise Show Directory. This effort also includes the cleanup of my company logo and my product logo.
The dimensions for the Pre-planner ad are 3.5W x 4.125H with no bleed. The dimensions for the printed Directory ad are 4.375W x 3.75H, and a standard 4-color (CMYK) printing process will be used. The two ads should be similar.
The target audience includes potential golf product distributors and golf umbrella companies that may want to license the concept. Companies looking for promotional products will also be interested.
Because my company, STINGR Solutions LLC, is a start up, I need to make sure that the ads are attention grabbing. Additionally, the product introduces an innovative, patent-pending feature that must be emphasized because no one will be looking for this unique feature, and it is the primary selling point. I also have a preliminary tag line that should be incorporated into the ad, but I'll also entertain other tag lines.
I have a company logo already designed and a product logo already designed, although neither one has been formalized (one was developed using PowerPoint and the other using Pro-E). Both need to be cleaned up, and both will be used in the ads and for other purposes (website, clothing, signage, etc.). The fonts used in the design will not change.
