Author's Name

Terry Tumbler

This is a about a group of retired people who decide to embark on a pilgrimage to Santiago, in Northern Spain, under the leadership of an ex-detective. The twist is that a number of them are not exactly devotees of any particular religion, and are doing it because they think its a fun thing to do, while seeking entertainment and companionship on their journey of discovery.
Each evening, one person in the group is committed to telling a short story, and it is this collection that forms the core of the book. The inspiration for the style of presentation came from Canterbury Tales by Geoffrey Chaucer, but without delving too deeply into the poetry associated with the original masterpiece.
The material in the individual stories varies from the raunchy to the bawdy and from the hilarious to the sad, being based more often than not on actual experiences.
The style of writing is fully intended to be humorous, and should appeal to those who enjoy a good belly laugh.
It also deals with the evolving relationships between individual pilgrims as their journey progresses.

Style and Content

What colors do you want to see in your design?

A few pictures embedded in the stories.
As regards the cover, I would like to see a red sheen to the landscape, and the figures in black, as per silhouettes in:
This red sheen, however, is optional, since I like design option 75 and 82 as mentioned in my previous correspondence.

What colors do you NOT want to see in your design?

Just stick with the options I have give.

Describe the style(s) you like (traditional, modern, etc.)

Traditional. The stories within are based on a mediaeval book
