Helena Chemical Company
What do you do?
We are the second largest ag retailer in the United States. We supply seed, fertilizer, chemical and other input products to producers all across the united states to aid in the production of crops. We also have some international presence and market our products through other retailers globally...
How many pages of print design do you need?
List the size requirement(s) for your print design
The size requirement is 8.5 x 11 they will be sales sheets that are required to fit in a folder pocket inside a larger sales brochure. The sales brochure rough visual is included in the attached zip file under a folder called main brochure theme to give a rough idea of what we are doing...
What is your industry?
We are in the Agriculture Industry
Describe the target audience for your print design
The target audience for our designs will be producers and farmers all across the united states ages 15-65. We need to keep the designs interesting but still calm and not too flashy to suite the older generation that we still need to cater to. We need the design to be interesting to their children but not offensive to the older growers either...

professionalism, longevity,and high quality
Style and Concept

We like things clean yet still with some elements that excite the reader. We need things that are not so stiff that they look boring but there is some element that makes it jump at you but just enough that it does not overwhelm or take it over the top to much...
What colors do you want to see in your print design?
Colors need to jive with the brand colors that can be seen in the attached zip file with the brand designated folders within that... Each sheet needs to flow with the theme of the logo and also with the them of the container brochure that they will have to live within...
What colors do you NOT want to see in your print design?
no pastels or feminine types of colors...
What adjectives should best describe your print design?
fun, clean, bold, exciting, sharp...
How will you use the print design?
We will use these within the main brochure as a deliverable to growers when we make sales calls to their farming operations to talk about the various service offerings that we can provide... Which is what these sheets represent... As opposed to our products that we sell, these are the service offerings that we also sell to them...
What content must be included in the print design?
Included with this project is a zip file that contains folders within it for each of the branded products that we need sheets designed for. You will find the EPS logos within there for the brands. Also you will find the overall helena chemical logo and our main service offering called agrintelligence. The main focus of the design needs to be the brand logo but we need to place the agrintelligence and helena logo on the sheet in a support fashion possibly near the bottom of the design. Helena is the main company, Agrintelligence is the department that I work in, and the brands you are making the sheets for are the service offering that my department sells for Helena. Also within each of the folders in the zip file you will find a high resolution image that needs to be used as the primary and sole picture element on the sales sheet. Just as you can see in the main brochure theme example our main brochure is very clean and utilizes single primary images. We need you to then touch in some color that matches the brand logo to make each sheet special to that product... Also within the ASK, HyGround, Truyield, and OnPoint folders you will find a PDF report... This is included for you to take a few key images shots of the reports and lay those on those specific sheets in a cool way. They do not need to readable and only need to show a few images of some pages, they could be stacked for instance or layered on top of each other and shown on the side somewhere or something... So please incorporate those in some way for those specific sheets. Please use greeking currently to represent text elements until I can deliver final text copy ( we are still working through that)...
crowdspring upload is not working properly so you can download the source project files here...
