How many pages of print design do you need?
2 (one domestic and one international) map
List the size requirement(s) for your print design
I would like to be able to use it across platforms- physically print it out 2' or 3' wide for example- but also use it as an image I can share digitally or on our website
What is your industry?
Describe the target audience for your print design
Lumber/Flooring Industry- our audience is not quite B2C, much more B2B (wholesale), heavily male industry. The image or map I would like created would also highlight our companies world presence as we do business just about everywhere!
What 3 things would you like to communicate to your audience through your print design?
Our vision is to be the best lumber company in the world. We promise our customers and suppliers that we will build relationships with them and offer value through experience, integrity, and hard work on their behalf.
Style and Concept
What print design styles do you like?
We want a map that will show the states that Robinson Lumber pulls our lumber from (domestically and internationally- but the domestic version of the map would be priority)
For example: many people ask "How is the White Oak down there in Louisiana??" - especially as we expand into Virginia, it will be important to show customers the region our lumber comes from. (NOT Louisiana)
I'd like to start working on a map image that shows our lumber sourcing and facilities. To start with, I'm thinking we break it out like this:
Northern (PA, NY, WV) RLC dot where Doug Hunters home office is
North Appalachian (IN, KY, TN) RLC dot where New Albany yard is
Mid Appalachian (NC, VA) RLC dot where Winchester yard is
Southern (SC, GA, AL) RLC dot where Shannons home office is
Below is a link to our locations more broadly:
What colors do you want to see in your print design?
Our company's signature color is a blue/green - specifically Red: 0 Green: 96 and Blue: 128, but I am open to using other smart, professional, strong colors for the project
What colors do you NOT want to see in your print design?
pastels, pinks, overtly feminine colors
What adjectives should best describe your print design?
smart, clean, professional, comprehensive
How will you use the print design?
print outs, potential brochure image or digitally
What content must be included in the print design?
Northern (PA, NY, WV) RLC dot where Pittsburgh, PA is
North Appalachian (IN, KY, TN) RLC dot where New Albany, Indiana is
Mid Appalachian (NC, VA) RLC dot or mark/mention where Winchester, Viriginia is
Southern (SC, GA, AL) RLC dot where we have a home office (technically Anderson, SC- but that general region a mark or mention is fine)
I've attached some images of what our company's president saw at a tradeshow (the slightly blurry brochure) as well as something we have featured on our website already for some guidance.
