LET ME TELL YOU ABOUT US:
Jacobs and Associates is a small company specializing in economic consulting, namely, regulatory reform. All of our clients are governments. We have worked with over 70 countries in the past few years. We provide high-end, specialized advice, and like to work on a personal basis with our clients, mostly ministers and top civil servants. Credibility is our main asset.
HERE IS WHAT WE NEED:
Our newsletter is a newsy summary of stories in our field from around the world. The name is The Better Regulator, which we want to keep. The newsletter is usually 8 pp, distributed in pdf format by email. It should be done 3 times a year. The first page is the letter from the Managing Director, and the last page is the summary of our company. The newsletter is so newsy that it is kept in some libraries as an information source, so it is not a marketing document mostly. However, its purpose is marketing, and the logo should be prominent. I would like to have a more crisp and professional look to the newsletter. The current version is attached below.
I like the general layout, with the information presented in short pieces, and the cover with the content and the letter, and the back sheet with company information, but the look could be crisper and more visual.
Basically, I want a design for the cover page and a standard format for the internal pages.
OUR TARGET AUDIENCE IS:
Government officials, analysts, researchers, practitioners. The newsletter is distributed to 8,000 target emails worldwide.
WE LIKE THESE DESIGNS:
Design should be clean and crisp, professional, not overt marketing or too many graphics. Emphasis on information, content, text, presented in a pleasing way.
WE ABSOLUTELY MUST HAVE (or we don't want to see) THIS IN OUR DESIGN:
Design should be clean and crisp, professional, not overt marketing or too many graphics. Emphasis on information, content, text, presented in a pleasing way. I do not want to see big graphics, too many colors, or anything humorous. We already have the attention of readers - we want the newsletter to be more crisp, more professional looking.
